Privacy Policy

VitaminEsthi ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information when you visit our website or contact us for nutrition therapy services. Depending on your location, Swiss data protection law (nFADP / DSG) and/or the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) may apply.

1. Who we are

The data controller for this website is VitaminEsthi, operated by Esther.

You can contact us at Admin@vitaminesthi.com or +41 76 467 54 76.

2. Information we collect

We may collect personal information that you provide voluntarily, including your name, email address, phone number, and any health or lifestyle details you share when requesting a consultation or contacting us.

When you visit the website, our hosting provider may process limited technical data automatically, such as IP address, browser type, device information, approximate location derived from IP, and request timestamps. This is needed to deliver and secure the website.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to respond to enquiries, schedule and deliver consultations, operate and secure this website, and meet legal or administrative obligations.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Legal bases for processing

Depending on the context, we process personal data based on your consent, the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (for example booking a consultation), our legitimate interests in operating and securing the website, and/or legal obligations.

Where health-related information is shared, we process it only as needed to provide the requested service and with your explicit consent where required.

5. Service providers and technologies we use

Hosting and delivery: This website is hosted on Vercel Inc. (or an affiliated Vercel entity). Vercel may process technical data such as IP addresses and server logs to provide hosting, security, CDN delivery, and reliability. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Website framework: The site is built with Next.js and React. Fonts are self-hosted via Next.js font optimisation, so visiting the site does not load fonts from Google Fonts servers.

Language preference: We store your selected language (EN/DE) in your browser localStorage so your choice is remembered. This is an essential preference storage, not advertising tracking.

Cookie preference: We store your cookie banner acknowledgement in localStorage so we do not show the notice again until our consent version changes.

Booking: Consultation booking is handled via LeadConnector / HighLevel (leadconnectorhq.com). If you open the booking widget, that provider processes the data you enter (for example name, email, phone, and appointment details) under its own privacy terms.

Social media: Links to Instagram may lead you to Meta platforms. Those services process data under their own policies when you visit them.

Contact: If you email or call us, your message and contact details are processed to respond to you. Your email or phone provider may also process transmission metadata.

We do not currently use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, or similar advertising or analytics trackers on this website.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use only essential cookies and similar technologies needed to run the website securely and remember functional preferences (language and cookie acknowledgement).

We do not use non-essential analytics or marketing cookies on this site today. If that changes, we will update this policy and request consent where required.

You can clear stored preferences through your browser settings, or reopen cookie settings from the website footer.

7. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including client records where legally required, and then delete or anonymise it securely.

Hosting logs retained by Vercel are kept according to Vercel's operational practices and our configuration, typically for a limited technical period.

8. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No online transmission is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

9. International transfers

Our hosting provider (Vercel) and other tools may process data in the United States or other countries outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area.

Where such transfers occur, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses and the provider's data processing terms.

10. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, and request data portability.

To exercise your rights, contact us at Admin@vitaminesthi.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (for example the Swiss FDPIC, or an EU/EEA supervisory authority).

11. Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without appropriate parental or guardian consent.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.

13. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, please contact VitaminEsthi at Admin@vitaminesthi.com or +41 76 467 54 76.
